I am a textile designer and consultant interested in the connection between the fabrics we use daily and how they are made. I value craftsmanship and manufacturing practices because they are inherent in the work we produce as designers. I was born and raised in La Paz, Boilvia, where I learned from specialized craftsmen how to knit on manual knitting machines, hand- knit, and work with yarn. This way of creating is reflected in my work.

I recently finished my MFA at the Rhode Island School of Design where I specialized in knitwear, print design, and color and material research.
